In this article, we will discuss the whole process on how to make money with Google Adsense from your Blog.
Google Adsense is one of the most popular methods you can use to monetize your blog with ads.
Because you do not have to run campaigns as you do in affiliate sites.
If you have decided to use Google Adsense on your blog, then this article will help you with all the steps and information you need to monetize your blog using Google AdSense and make money from your Blog.
What is Google Adsense?
Google AdSense is a program run by Google, which helps website publishers to show Text ads, image ads, video ads that are targeted to the website or audience and help the publishers to monetize their blog.
You have the control on what types of ads you need to show on your website, whether you want to show text ads, image ads or video ads and you can also block the ads you do not want to show on your website.
One of the significant benefits is that google only runs the highest paying ads available for your targeted audiences.
Another thing is you can also choose where you want to place your ads on, Do you want to show ads on your website Header area or you want to show your ads on your sidebars, or you want to show your ads in between your articles.
How Google Adsense Works?
As we have discussed what is Google AdSense is, let’s discuss how Google AdSense works.
It is effortless to understand how Google Adsense works. AdSense works by matching ads to your site based on your content and visitors.
These ads are created and paid by advertisers who want to promote their product or services.
Since these advertisers pay different amounts to promote their advertisements, the amount you earn will vary.
To make it easier for you to understand, I have divided it into three easy steps.
Step 1 – You make ads space available on your Blog/Website.
It’s up to you to decide where you want to show ads on your Blog.
You can show you ads in different areas.
- The header section of your website
- Sidebars or in between your blog posts.
You have to play with the ads placements for a bit to see which area ads are getting more clicks which will help you generate more income from Adsense.
Also, you have to keep in mind that you should not place too many ads on your blog because too many ads can make the reader irritated, and they will not revisit your website.
You have to keep the placement of your ads neat and clean, which should not disturb the user while they are reading your content.

Step 2 – Google Shows the highest paying ads on your site.
Many advertisers are bidding to show their ads on websites, so the highest bidders get to show their ads on Sites.
Hence google places the highest paying advertisements on your site, and when someone clicks on your ads, you get paid.
The amount you will get paid when a reader clicks on the ads on your website is known as CPC ( Cost per Click ), and according to Google AdSense program, google takes a per cent of your CPC.
Google takes 32% of the CPC.
If the cost per click for your keyword is $1
You will Get 68% that is = $0.68 and Google will Take = $0.32.
Step-3 You get paid
There are two ways google pays you money.
- Direct Deposit
- Cheque or (check)
Google pays through direct deposits or Using Check or (Cheque) Every month once you exceed the $100 mark.
If your Google AdSense earning does not exceed $100 per month, Then your earning will roll-over next month. Each time you exceed the $100 mark.
Google will issue the payment next month.

How much can You earn from Google Adsense?
One of the frequently asked questions, I get all the time is about how much money you can make through AdSense, and again my answer will be the same.
There is no fixed amount I can tell you, and even Google can’t tell you how much money you can earn from Google AdSense because it depends on many factors.
Factors that affect your AdSense earning:-
Traffic is King, when you want to monetize your blog with Adsense because not everyone that comes to your website will click on the ads on your Blog.
According to some research, the average ads click percentage is somewhere around 2-5% of the total traffic.
So the higher the traffic on your blog, the more chances of people clicking on your ads.
When you want to monetize your blog using Adsense, the traffic can be your biggest asset.
But traffic is not the only factor which affects your earnings, and There are other factors as well.
2.CPC (Cost Per Click)
Cost per click is another factor that affects your AdSense revenue, and the CPC varies for every keyword.
The reason behind this depends on how much an advertiser is paying Google to show ads on your website.
You can check the CPC for your keyword in Google keyword planner.
You can go to Google Keyword Planner and enter your keyword, and Google will show the CPC for your keyword as well as other related keywords.
From there, you can check the CPC for your keyword, and also you can use a different keyword that matches your keyword and you can target that keyword.
If you are getting higher CPC on the related keyword, then you can use that keyword to target instead.
For Example –
If your keyword is (How to make money from Adsense) and CPC is $1.
And the related keyword is (How to make money from Google Adsense), and the CPC is $2.
Then you can target the Related keyword because you will get higher CPC per click.
Traffic source affects your Adsense revenue a lot, so it is essential to generate organic traffic, i.e. traffic from search engines.
Search Engine Traffic helps you in getting higher CPC.
Many people complain that they are driving traffic directly from social media and other platforms, but they are getting very low CPC.
But if you get traffic directly from search engines, the CPC will be much higher.
So, try getting traffic from search engines.
Location is also very much crucial if you are using AdSense to monetize your blogs.
When your targeted audience is from Tier 1 countries like the USA, UAE and UK, you will get a much higher CPC for your keyword as compared to other Tier-2 countries.
Because the advertising cost is higher in Tier-1 countries and advertisers have to pay more money to Google to run their ads; hence your will get higher CPC.
So, Focus on targeting the Tier 1 countries, and you will see you are getting higher CPC for your keywords.
I have also written an article on HOW TO FIND OUT HIGH CPC KEYWORD.
Niches is also a significant factor for your revenue Because in some niches the conversions rates are pretty high.
When the advertisers run ads on these niches, then they get a large number of leads and also the competition on these niches are very high.
So the advertisers have to pay higher prices to run their ads for these Niches, and if you have a blog on these Niches, then chances are you will be getting higher CPC.
- Online education
These are some of the Highest CPC niches where you can get massive CPC.
But remember the competition on these niches are also very high and it will take a lot of work to rank on for these Niches/keywords.
You should choose a niche in which you have good knowledge about, and also you have to check if there is a market for your niche and advertisers are running ads on it.

Most of the people apply for AdSense approval too fast, without even reading the Google Adsense terms and policy and without a proper website with enough content and poor website structure layout.
You have to keep some things in mind before you try to get approval from Adsense:-
Your website/blog should have 10-15 useful quality posts and around 1000+ each.
Because before approving your Adsense account, google checks whether your website has genuine articles on it or not.
Many people don’t get approval because they have only 300-400 words articles on their website, or they just have 4-5 average articles.
If you do this, then your chances of getting Adsense approval will be less.
So, First, try to write at least 10-15 articles of about 1000+ words.
Your website should be free of any plagiarism content.
Never try to copy-paste articles from other websites and avoid any article spinning tools to spin your copied content.
It will not help you to make your copied article unique or free from plagiarism; This will only affect your website.
You will not get your AdSense account approved, and Google can also penalize your website.
Never try to use any illegal or shady tricks to fool google, Google is way smarter than you think.
Clean, Fast And Responsive Website
Your website layout should be clean and easily navigational; users should not face any problem using your website.
Your website loading speed should be fast because fast websites will also help you in Seo and ranking in Google SERP. After all, page speed is one of the ranking factors in Google.
